With Mobile Security it’s easy to find and secure a lost or misplaced phone. You can locate your phone on a map and get turn-by-turn directions or command it to sound an alarm. In the event you can’t find your phone, you can lock it and wipe your personal data from it to protect your privacy. You can do all this via a simple web interface or you can get live support from an agent if you don’t have access to a computer.

How does it work?
Logon to my.t-mobile.com/mobilesecurity from any browser, anywhere to access to the following capabilities:

- “LOCATE” provides a GPS based location to retrieve your device
- “ALARM” sounds an audible alarm if you misplace a device nearby – even if it is set to vibrate or silent mode
- “LOCK” your device to protect its contents from unauthorized users while it is being retrieved
- “WIPE” the contacts, photos and more depending on the model, if the device cannot be recovered
- “MESSAGE FAMILY” sends a text message to notify your friends and family that you’ve lost your phone

Who’s eligible?
The Mobile Security app is available to T-Mobile Premium Handset Protection® (PHP) Bundle and Insurance customers free of charge. Not enrolled in PHP? Mobile Security is available to all T-Mobile customers as a standalone application for $3.99 per month, allowing you the benefits of locating and securing the data on your phone.
